Dr. Richard Cutler brings decades of clinical experience and a distinguished history of leadership to our practice. Since completing his residency and fellowship at Temple University, he has dedicated his career to the highest standards of periodontal care. His clinical philosophy is built on the foundation of advanced education and the belief that consistent, evidence-based treatment is the key to lasting patient health.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Cutler has achieved significant milestones beyond mandatory educational requirements. This status reflects his commitment to the highest levels of expertise, involving comprehensive oral examinations covering all phases of periodontal disease and implant treatment, as well as the presentation of detailed clinical portfolios of his own work. He maintains this high standard through mandatory recertification every three years.

Throughout his career, Dr. Cutler has been deeply involved in shaping the field of dentistry. He has served as an Associate Clinical Professor at Temple University and spent years contributing to the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. His commitment to the profession also includes six years of service as a Trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology. This extensive background in both education and professional governance ensures that he provides care rooted in deep technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the evolving standards in periodontics.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Cutler enjoys a variety of active and creative hobbies. He is an avid fan of paddle tennis, squash, and golf, and he also finds time for photography. At home, he enjoys the peaceful pursuit of raising flowers and values the time he spends with his wife and two children.
