Choose The Best For Dental Implant Success

One of the most important steps in a successful teeth replacement journey starts with finding the best dental implant practice. Whether you’re replacing one, two, or a full arch of teeth, you‘ll want a periodontal surgeon who utilizes today’s top tools, materials and technologies. The practice should provide you with all the information you need in order to make an informed decision toward long-term success.

Here at Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics, Director Dr. Philip L. Fava, II oversees a forward-thinking team of periodontists and support staff.

We’re dedicated to our craft, staying ahead of the curve with an emphasis on team communication, ongoing education and dedication to the highest standards. We’ll always treat you with the respect and compassion you deserve while helping you achieve a confident, healthier smile.

Ensuring the Best Outcome

What we call a “dental implant” is a procedure that starts with a titanium post that has been strategically selected in terms of quality and size.

There is no “one-size-fits-all” dental implant! This post (or multiple posts) will be surgically positioned in your jaw to replace your former tooth root (or roots). Thanks to a totally natural biological process known as osseointegration, the post will fuse with your jawbone to recreate the stability you need to support a replacement “tooth.”

As few as four dental implants can be used for a full-arch restoration utilizing a denture of unremovable “teeth.”  You may have heard about these procedures —All-on-4™ and Same Day Smile® are common references.

Choosing Quality

There are more than 100 manufacturers of dental implant components. But we only use the most reliable systems from dental manufacturing leaders. By choosing the best components, we help ensure the fastest biological interface, bone growth and overall healing. Choosing the finest materials also helps us avoid complications down the road.

Another component, a high-quality connector piece called an abutment, is positioned on top of the implanted post. The abutment will link to the only part of your dental implant that other people will see – your natural-looking replacement tooth or teeth in the form of a single crown, multiple crowns or full-arch bridge restoration of replacement teeth. You’ll once again be able to eat the foods you love, with pride and confidence in your new smile.

Experts In Dental Implant Surgery

Our periodontists are considered among the area’s top oral plastic surgeons of dentistry. They understand the importance that reconstructive and restorative improvements can make on your esthetics, confidence, as well as, of course, your health and overall lifestyle.

By working with top dental practitioners and support staff you help minimize risks and ensure continuity of care. Why would you even consider putting this important decision in the hands of a practitioner who may have only taken a weekend course in implant dentistry?
